almost mid-way through 2005 and i am still blissfully
w/o a fulltime job - though i worked my ass of for a couple
months helping the gf's dad make a lot of improvements
to the house she bought late last year. new roof, new
electrical service, new heater and a/c, a LOT of landscaping, solar heat for the pool and on and on...in the

say goodbye to 2004 - i went the whole year unemployed,
it was great. alas, 2005 means i am gonna have to look for
a job.

where was SG when i was a twentysomething? last october i got laid
off after 19 years and 9 months at nasa...but the last 10 months have been the best of my life...
