Okay,
This morning, yesterday am, I got a few scant hours of sleep and went back to school. The crush's name I'll keep hidden, but anyhow I got breakfast and happened to see te candy she had during yesterday's lunch.
Anyhow, I pick it up and she's outside after class, and I call her, and she looks around, and I tell her that I got her a tiny something. And we're both grinning and walking inside, and she was real excited, and it was wonderful. I mean really really great!
She came in with me, and waited for me, and I gave her this "gift," which was nothing more than a bag of candy, and she's like "now, I'll have to get you something in return!" It was really cheesy-great. At one point she gave me this big hug and we were walking in the halls and all of these memories are out of place because I'm tired for lack of sleep due to Law Studies, but anyhow, we were smilling and laughing and we agreed it was like we were in school again, which was cute.
I listened to the Kinks a lot today. I've decided that they are great for anyone who is moving on and getting over an ex. The only thing that you could do to top listening to the Kinks as you're moving on, is to send your ex- a copy of it, because it's usually so love-melancholy and obsessive that it almost definitively is a kiss of death.
I spent the rest of the day, giggling, smiling, mildly pre-occupied, and then I got extremely shy, because she was near her friends, which made me mildly introvertish, because I don't know them very well. Hopefully, that will not be a real problem for her.
I just don't know what to do or how to go about doing any of this, but I am looking forward to making all satisfactory attempts. In the great words of the movie ELF:
I'm in love! I'm in love I'm in love, and I don't care who knows about it!
That said, I'm assuming that like a house of cards, the structure is so weak that it couldn't stand... ARGH!
I just want to hold her hand, etc.
Really liking someone again,
Ian
