Today kind of bleeds into yesterday for me.
After my report of yesterday, I came home, bought myself a basketball, and fell asleep. After that, I ended up waking up, doing laundry and calling Min and Jared.
Jared was out with a large group of people drinking in Brroklyn.
I fucked up a lot, making train mistakes, and ended up meeting Min almost an hour later than expected. I am SUCH A TOOL, sometimes!
Anyhow, after we met up, we couldn't get ahold of Jared anymore, or the others, so Min and I had BK and talked.
By the way, I spoke with him about my lack of ease regarding our friendship, which he addressed very matter of factly. the gist of it goes as follows:
M: I only spend my time with you, Leigh Anna, and Sumanth. I don't really care about meeting or spending time with the other students.
I: Yeah, I need them though. They're the only support that I have here. (Min agrees). I still feel like I'm uncertain about our friendship though, you know?
M: Why?
I: Well, I feel like because you're older and you have all of these people and friends beyond us that I don't understand why you would choose to spend so much time with me when you have your groundings, you know?
M: Well, it's like there's this buddhist saying, that even if you just brush shoulders with someone and you're walking on a busy street, you have had ten thousand previous lives together. That's how interconnected we are, but also that there will never be another Ian in this world...
So that illuminated some stuff for me, I guess.
Then we went to go see the CONSTANT GARDENER- great great great great great movie, especially visually, BUT it was still a type of maudlinish propaganda film in a way, but tastefully done, almost so much so that it was able to be overlooked.
I also saw Junebug tonight, which is a WONDERFUL movie. Although I suggested Constant Gardener to my friend today, truthfully, Junebug is the better film. It uses the medium well and doesn't tie together a conclusion, which is great. I laughed a lot throughout the movie, although other people didn't seem to get some of the jokes- back to last night-
Then, we went to LAVA GINA, which has a bar shaped liked a V. God that place was funny. The bartender, buxom, beautiful, and published, nonetheless!, was pulling at my hair and demanding attention, which made me feel great. And the bar was covered in sand, like a reggae beach-party! It was awesome. Then we went to a Korean restaurant again and I got coffee and a muffin and came home.
I slept until 8 pm. I got a box of books, which only had some of them inside. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Anyhow, then my roommate, who appears to be getting more and more irrational, is looking for things to be angry about. My new goal, is not to be around very often, at all. I think it is best. This is the second time she has told me that she is mad at me over things. I understand one, but the other is irrational, and I think that this may escalate, unless I am prepared to leave. Secretly, I may need to look for another apartment.
OH WELL.

Hmm didn't understand that conversation much at all...oh well. I find it odd that you are so frank about your relationship with these people. Hmm, not on here but in real life. It just seems strange that these guys talk to you like this...nice and honest though. You guys sound like you have a long relationship history. Either that or you build relationships with people quickly. How long have you guys known each other? And what are you going to school for?
