Had a great weekend and spent almost all of it with Lesley in Harlem. Fucking great. I read about an eighth of a contracts primer just to make sure I'm on top of the game, and got half-way through the reading for Monday.

I have yet to have heard from my teacher, however. I sent her an email on Friday in the early afternoon, and in general I just find that she is inaccessable. She refused to give us direct feedback on our answers, and instead posted some sort of general-guideline supposedly "model answer" which doesn't even meet her requirements in terms of hacing full sentences... I will look everything over today, but that was REALLY frustrating.

beyond the bitching, however, I feel like I'm at a pretty good point in my life. I just need to work very very hard from now on. Forever.

Damnit.

I got a shave today, which was more like a too close nicking than a close shave, but GEORGE the barber I think felt pretty badly about it, and asked me to come back all of the time. He's alright in my book.

Saw Shamguard, today, just coming out of the subway. He invited me to go check out some of the best ballers in New York, but I had to come here to study. I am fucking directed, at least, but there's also no telling what sort of trouble I could get into. Best not to go.

He did give me a good head-rub/hug/knee-to-the ground sort of thing though. Cool people overall.

The more you say it the weirder it sounds.

I love NYC. I had (what some might say a bad) habbit of talking to homeless people while waiting for buses and trains and such. Nobody ever did anything bad to me and most of the time they had an interesting story to share. I guess I'm just a people person.
