Making ready for winter too on the southern part of the world. How cold does your winter get?

In South Africa and especially in Johannesburg where I live, we don't get snow. The windchill makes it fucking cold, but my other half travels often and say we only have a 'mild' winter.

Damn straight, I know that not all men think like him, but it just amazes me to think that there are some out there who still believe that. It's an ancient way of thinking, primitive. Ah, but what can you expect from a religious fanatic.
