Mi madre just left town

But we did some fun stuff while she was here and it was awesoem spending time with her! She lives on the east coast and she hates to fly , so the fact that she came all the way to LA melts my heart and she broght her husband. And it was their Anniversary.


On their frist night in town we stayed at my house and I made her White veggie Lasagna (this is before it went into the oven)
we drank wine and lit a fire and it was very nice. i played all her favorite LP's like the Carpenters and Simply Red and Swing Out Sister

the next Day it was raining and it was also St. Paddies.But her husband wanted to watch March Madness so we all just went to a few bars.
She holds her liquor well..


Sunday we went to Santa Monica and I TOTALLY FORGOT it was the LA Marathon so it took forever to get down there. and then it was a zoo! but we still got to walk around in the ripping winds...
and strangely I thought i was being funky with my hair, but apparently my mom beat me to it.

That night we saw Casa di mi Padre! Great Movie. I highly suggest it, and smoke a lil before you go...AND Will Ferrell was there!!! He did a Q/A.
OF COURSE i asked a question.
I asked, well said really. "You looked really comfortable on a horse there..."

"Well yes I am a fine Horseman. A true Equestrian Really."

"What was your prior experience and/or what kind of training did you have to do?"

"Honestly I just have a really great double. None of that was me. But Genesis! (the female lead) She's great! She's been riding for all her Mexican Soaps so she's a real pro. But uh, no that was a body Double. Except the part where were on the fake horses. that was me."

we clearly had great seats...
And my mom LOVED it, she really likes Will Ferrell.


For her Anniversary I made her a video of her favorite song that i play on Ukulele

She loves when I sing.



I also took her to Universal City Walk and we went Indoor Skydiving!!!

Then Tuesday Morning they said GoodBye

But My Sister is having a baby! and i will be in Florida for like a month so i will see them again in September!!

both my truck and my Dude's Corolla have zero Leg room. So I rented a car... and i got it from enterprise, but they are too far out of my range to drop/pick up... so yesterday i...

Dropped the Car at Santamonica and Vine
Walked 1.5 miles to Hollwood and Highland
Bought new underwear at American Apparell
Walked 2 miles to my Girls house on Hollywood and Western
Took the Train from Hwood/Western to Universal City
Walked 1.5 miles from Universal City to my house.

Thats a total of 5 miles. And it was not bad at all. I know people bitch all the time about LA being a horrible city to live in with no car, but seriously. It was great day.

And guess what might be happening this Sunday with those new panties???
IF all goes well..... you fine folks might get to see......A New Set!!
