So I've really been kicking serious ass at work lately. This is good because it means that, hopefully, my next few paychecks will be quite large. This is also good because as long as I'm producing results my boss doesn't really give a fuck what I do. Like come in late every day. Oops.
Speaking of work, I got to see a grown man throw a hissy fit in the store on Sunday. I won't bore you with the details, but basically he wanted to return this old, broken, busted up thermometer and, after I told him no, he growled, wound up, and smahed it into pieces against the floor. It was fucking hilarious.
Last night we were hanging out at Jeremy's place and we began planning for the next function for our social group, R.A.D. Jay got the idea during his semester in Australia. On May 14, we are going to hold The Great American Case Race, in which teams of two compete to see who can finish a case of beer first. Very college of us, huh? I'm entering with my buddy Steve, who goes to Auburn. Vladdic and Jeremy are entering as a team. This is going to be fuckin' great.
In preparation for the Case Race, last night, since we had nothing better to do, we decided to do a preliminary six pack race. Jay won, putting away six Coors Lights in an incredible twelve minutes. And then he did some celebratory breakdancing. I fucking love my friends.
Tonight I got to experience one of life's simple pleasures, and one of my favorite things in the world. In fact, I think I talk about doing this several times a year, but whatever. Blasting home down Georgia 400 at 80 miles and hour on a warm night, windows down, stereo all the way up, and singing along to Saves The Day. Yeeeeeaaaahhhh.
Flux gets in town tomorrow. Fan-fuckin-tastic.
