Well, last night was an abortion of a fun evening. I had planned on going to Athens to see Q and Not U, but I didn't feel like driving an hour, watching a show, and driving home all by myself, so I didn't end up going.
My back up plan was to begin the night at The Five Spot. A girl I used to date was singing in a jazz combo there last night, and she really wanted me to go. But, somewhere along the way, I didn't make it to Little 5 so I missed it. Ah well.
After The Five Spot I was supposed to go to this party at my roommate's girlfriend's apartment. Actually, it was Paige's roommate's party, and it was some sort of sorority affair. Now, you'd think that I'd jump on the chance to spend an evening as the only single guy in a room full of sorority girls. But, unfortunately for me, I have this crippling condition that causes me to get really, really bored really, really fast if I don't find the girl I'm talking to interesting. This is the way it usually goes when I try to talk to sorority girls, hipster girls, etc.-
"Hi, I'm David. I like beer and punk rock."
"Hi I'm suchandsuch and I like Good Charlotte/Dave Matthews and Paris Hilton!"
"Okay, well, it was nice meeting you."
This type of situation ususally leads to me getting really drunk, really fast. And then I just start mocking and belittling said people, which just makes things worse, and I end up spending the night sitting on the couch, drunk as hell, staring at the wall and talking to people I know.
Anyway, despite all of that nonsense, I probably would have gone to the party had it not been for the particular sorority that it was. Some of my best friends were in that sorority, and they dropped out. That tells you something. Also, remember when this
happened to me? Well, maybe y'all don't, but I sure do, and those girls are part of that sorority. Yeesh.
So anyway, I spent my night drinking at home and watching Room Raiders with my roommate and his girlfriend. Lame, huh?

You should of called me. I just ended up passing out at 10:30 and not getting up till 5. It is always fun making girls cry.. and plus I probably would of gotten laid.. there is always one that finds my total disreguard for her feelings attractive.
