Devo is playing Music Midtown. As are The Pixies.
I don't want to shell out that kind of money, but dammit... I really can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than getting wasted and watching Devo.
The radio at work today was all like, "Hey, lets play stuff that Dave listened to when he was 14!" First they played "Blind" by Korn, which made me crack up in the middle of trying to sell some shit. And then they played "Roots Radicals" by Rancid, which caused me to sneer, dance around the store, and wonder what the fuck happened to my "...And Out Come The Wolves" record which, not including Smash and Dookie (because fucking everyone my age bought those two) was the first punk record I ever owned. I think I got that for my birthday and then got "Ride The Lightning" and "Static Age" for Christmas that year. And then I started wearing Doc Martins and dressing in black. Yeah! 1998!
And speaking of 1998, this asshole used to spit bread at me in the cafeteria back then. He hasn't changed much. But he is back on the block, so everyone go laugh at his mullet.

Llona mentioned carpooling out there, so it might happen.
