So, I'm going on almost 6 months of not seeing/dating/talking to anyone, and I'm starting to think it might be time to open up and get out there again. I know the title says dating, I mean getting out there and making an effort to talk to new people, and making new friends/connections, finding someone to hang out with and talk to other than my best friend, his wife, and their baby. I had a shitty breakup at the end of last year, and I ended up closing myself off from talking to anyone, or making new friends and whatnot. I'm starting to think it's time to open up and enjoy myself a little. I don't mean hook up or anything like that (it's hard to believe but I'm one of those rare type of guys that doesn't enjoy sex unless it's with my significant other, so no strings attached hook ups are a definite no for me). Why you ask? Well, there's a new girl at work (of course lol) that caught my attention. I don't know much about her, but she seems like someone that I would definitely like to get to know and take out to dinner and hang out with. If all goes well, I'm highly considering asking her out sometime. Whether she says yes or no, it's a start on breaking out of my self inflicted solitary confinement. There's nothing to lose in trying to get back out there, right?
