If you can't buy healthier things then just watch your calories. Limit yourself to about 1500-1800 a day. You won't be starving yourself but you won't be over eating either. This site has calculators for the calories you should be eating to lose and maintain your weight based on your body type and activity level. It also has a calculator showing you how many calories you burn doing certain tasks (including brushing your teeth and watching tv). I hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Thing is when you're eating the types of food I can afford, you can eat up 1800 calories in such a lil amount of food that it does feel like starving yourself. That's why I'm trying to get healthier food to snack on.

Life does suck. I might have to quit my job soon if they don't work around my school. And I have no friends. And I haven't got laid since December. And I can't afford to move back out of my mom's house again. This all better work out. I had to vent too.

I'm right there with you with the job thing. Granted I have a job, but not for much longer cause I am gonna be out of my apartment for the beginning of the month, so I can move in with my fiance and her family. But I don't really want to move in with them without a job

I've been working in a kitchen now now for 2 years and have skills and experience. Figured this would be the easiest job search I've had to do. Especially working in an independent place working primarily from scratch, you'd think the chains would want me since Im more experienced than they got. And all the calls I've been getting are for two days a week or for part time wait staff. Thats not on my list of skills.

And the interveiw I had the other day, really got me down cause I expected to walk away from the whole thing with a job, now Im waiting on a call. SIGH*
