I was supposed to be going home to Dublin this weekend but I missed my flight. Not because I was late. Because I WENT TO THE WRONG AIRPORT. I am officially brain damaged. This will be the second flight I've missed in the past 6 months. I missed a flight to Berlin in October because I managed to somehow put my phone down my pants while I was asleep in an attempt to silence the wake-up alarm. It worked! And I missed my flight. My solution was to take 1/2 gram of MDMA and fall down a stairwell - a poor substitute for being in Berlin. This time I settled for being drunk all day on Saturday, eating sweets and going to bed at 7pm. Yesterday I went to my best friend's house and we had a big roast dinner. Her housemate is gay and all of his amazingly handsome, witty, hilarious friends were there too. Why are gay men so amazing. It's completely unfair.
In January I told a boy I was seeing that I didn't want to see him anymore. Only because he is a jerk, not because I don't like him. And now I think I'm kind of lonely. I hate that in London people have these forcefields around them that you're not allowed to penetrate. You're only really allowed to talk to a stranger if you want to ask what time it is or something. Apart from that people just ignore eachother. It's intimidating.
And another thing -- why do girls have to be such an embarrassment? I was at a blues session yesterday and it was awesome, but there was this bunch of girls sitting right up at the front, talking OVER the music. They were literally the only ones in the whole place who were talking. They were completely overdressed, I don't know why they were even there, and they were saying stuff like 'YEAH I MEAN IT'S NICE TO GO FOR A PEDICURE ONCE IN A WHILE IT'S JUST SO RELAXING. THE PLACE I WENT TO THIS TIME, THEY USED THAT MAC STUFF. THE COLOUR I HAVE ON NOW IS CALLED STRAWBERRY MARGHERITA.' while this unbelievable band is playing. That kind of thing makes me sad to be a woman.

And dont get me started on people talking at gigs. I nearly hit some guys at a Morrisey gig when they talked through the entire thing.
