Went to go see Jonsi in Oakland this week, it was such an emotion driven show, I've never been to the greek theatre before, it has to be the nicest concert venue I've ever been to. I wish I had a better camera phone so that I could've taken decent pics, and the video that I took was just crap quality...balls. Next I wanna go see the arcade fire in concert, i didnt see them when neon bible came out, so I gotta see them now, cuz I'm diggin' the new album. Just picked up a new library card from the santa clara library, and got a book by A. Lee Martinez called, Monster. Its about a pest control service that handles the disposal of monsters. Had a nice day today, trying not to be too bothered by the fact that its amelies bday today and she's not with me. Of course, I did go to her school today with my badass vegan halloween cupcakes for her and her friends. They fucking loved them! I feel like such a cool dad!
I've seen amelie a lot this week, so I cant complain too much. I really need to make sure that I've got someone with me for amelies party at her moms house this saturday, because I'll be damned if I'm gonna be there without some kind of emotional support.
Excited about the new bamboo paint brush holder, drawing board with built in clips, and rigger watercolor brush from accent arts today. I wasnt too thrilled about driving so far to go get them, but it was worth it. All the art stores around here are so corporate and they dont have nearly as many supplies as they have there. Cant believe I worked there like 10 years ago. I didnt know shit about art then. I love the bamboo brush holder because it doesnt damage the brush tips and it looks cooler than the typical cloth pouch. I'm becoming quite the little artist.
