I should have guessed you'd be a fan of the C93/COIL/NwW bunch. I've been corresponding with David Tibet about trying to buy some of his stuff for my library--I'd love to have a complete set of his Ghost Story Press books for the collection, plus his forthcoming autobiography and lyrics books. I love when I can work my personal obsessions into the library collection--like when I bought a stack of Richard Kern and Eric Kroll books.

I hope things are still on the upswing for you. I know exactly what you mean about the contagion of depression. I'm determined not to get sucked in, but sometimes there's nothing sweeter than lying on the floor listening to "The Sadness of Things" over and over.

Mmmm...yummy dinner. If you ever want to try something cool for desert, do this:

Get vanilla ice cream and balsamic vinegar.

Put the vinegar in a pan on the stove, medium heat. Throw in a bit of brown sugar. Let the vinegar reduce until it gets to the consitancy of syrup. Then take it off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes.

Pour on ice cream and eat..

Your mouth will be in heaven.

Actually I used to be very slavey w/slavey fantasies. Regarding the psychology..I was very much a pleaser...I rode a long way to transforming away from that to self-empowered in an independent way.

The climax was a huge swinging debacle where I was the biggest cuck on earth (or felt that way). Then divorced with no scratches on my bedpost. It was an amazing experience of spiritual stamina. My heart lead me into this maha-tantra trial with a different outcome and a different type of victory than I had expected. Ghandi with the virgins in his bed was nothing compared to my demons and ghosts.

The first summery weather has reached us here. Warm night winds that make for perfect air-bath weather. Naked on the balcony late late at night. It's dreamy.

Ahhhh Portland!

One of my most beautiful Portland memories is heading home after a great communal meal. I was perfectly stoned, had just the right amount of wine, and I hopped on my bike. It was such a beautiful cool evening and the streets were deserted and silent. I wound my way from northeast back to my place at 36th and Powell.

Never has a giant spinning milk carton looked so good.
