you know what's sad? i think i like planning parties more than i actually enjoy the party itself. there's just something about the excitement of thinking about how much fun it's going to be, but then when you're having fun and no one else is, it just kind of ends up as being a major let down. but regardless, my friends and i are having a massive party this weekend to celebrate all of our february birthdays. i got put in charge of DJ-ing. i'm excited. i just hope i can figure out what to play to stimulate a good social atmosphere, whether it be standing around talking, or dancing. i want music that can do both. so i'll be driving myself crazy over that all week. i even posted something about it on the boards. everyone should go check and give me their feedback. and by everyone i mean the few of you out there that actually check my profile. anyway, i've got homework to go do. rockin' like dokken!

I'm in a similar position for my roommate's birthday party next weekend. It'll be a fun night once I've made all of her stupid friends dance to Kylie Minogue.
