i'm in new york now! things are going pretty well, this whole school orientation thing is a little hectic/overwhelming.. but im really happy to be here. i just need to make friends, then ill be better. i miss home! the republican nat'l convention is going on here, there's so much protesting going on right outside my window, i can hear people shouting on bullhorns like 24 hours a day. i bought a cute lamp made out of a pink plastic flower with a red bulb. there's so much to buy here, i have to save my money hardcore. ramen for dinner for the next 4 years!
