Im very sad about the passing of my former co-worker, Portland Wrestler "Bruiser" Brian Cox. Brian was a HUGE guy with a really cool look to him. 20 inch arms, tanned, tons of really huge cool tattoos and cool hair. Kinda like the punk rock wrestler.

Last time I saw Brian was Aug 1st. 2002 at the Roseland Theater at the Danzig concert. We talked for a second,shared a laugh, and I was sooooo drunk that Night I remember coming up to him and fake punching him. He had a laugh because I was so much smaller than him. Then I missed and hit his girlfriend! He was cool though!

We both Worked for Portland Wrestling a couple years ago. When they were at the Roseland theater in the summer of 2000. We used to drink beer backstage, crash shows at the roseland and just chill.
I guess he died of a overdose. Im sure it was cocaine. Just like what killed another great friend in Curt Hennig "Mr. Perfect". Drugs suck. He had allot of potiential that he didnt take advantage of. The Drugs got in the way. Allot of people here in the NW will be sadden by this. He was the only guy around here that had a real chance to make it to the big time.

Its crazy! These wrestlers drop like flies. They live a really hard /crazy life!
