JURY DUTY
GREAT. So today I had to go to my first Jury Duty. Which really sucked but I guess it could have been worse. I tried to dress appropiate with a white flowery dress shirt and black dress pants. JOY. You know and I thought it would be something cool like a criminal case but nooo it was for car accidents, as if they don't already give me a headache.
So I had to be there at 9:30. First I went into the wrong building which a police nicely directed me to the right place saying " It's one of the other buildings when you turn on the left." I was like .. One of the other ones? Is it marked? Its it tall? What color? Geeez., So after walking around the block for awhile I just started picking buildings and going in. All the buildings in that block are courts so it was a little difficult but I found it.
I went in and they checked through my purse and put me through a metal detector. The lady somehow managed to spill all the stuff out my purse everywhere so I just grabbed it from her and said ILL GET IT.
I went in the little ass room where a bunch of other people where all crammed together. Everyone there was at least over 35. Most were older than 50. They all stared at me for the half an hour we remainded in that tiny room. They strictly told us that we had to be locked into this room and no one was allowed to leave or talk to anyone. I felt like the prisoner.
Then this guy walked in about 60 years old with a long mustache that curled up at the ends! I Busted out laughing it was sooo awesome to see that. His long white hair was geled up into little curles.
He kept saying " I wish they had some paintings on this wall" Over and over again.
So they finally took us to the courtroom. And there I sat when they called 14 out of the 25 or so jurers there to come up. I was called so I walked up and there they expalined the case and that 7 of us would be chosen to be the jurers for this case. I was not picked which didn't suprise me but I got to come home! However I have to call everyday to see when the next time they will need me in which really sucks..

It does seem that way doesn't it? I have the wierdest shit always happen to me. And somethings always going on.
