Ok so check this out. . .
MY TRIP TO THE DMV
So earily this morning I had to go to the DMV because I took a drivers Improvement class for a ticket I got a couple of months back and I had to give them the paper saying I completed the eight hour class.
Well I thought the DMV opened at 9:00 so I was sort of suprised when I showed up there at 8:20 thinking I was earily and could wait outside to beat the crowd and the whole parking lot was slammed pact. Turns out the DMV opens at 8:00.
I walk in the building and there is a long line to wait in just to recieve a number. I expected the long wait I mean it is the DMV. I stand there and it seems like everyone in the building is looking at me ( which always happens if you have ONE thing about you that is even remotely different. ) I was dressed normal in plaid pants and a white dress shirt but it was probably the tattoos. lol.
So i'm waiting in this line and I spot sitting down in a chair some guy I went to high school with. He wasn't someone who I really wanted to talk to because we really were not friends and he wasn't the nicest person to me. Luckily he did not say a word to me the whole time I was there.
I'm still standing in line when a asian lady about the age of 26 jumps out of her seat and runs out the door crying, when I say crying I mean loud ass sobering, screaming and tears everywhere. Her arms were swinging all over the place as she ran out the door. I was like WTF? Then I looked around for a camera crew or something thinking maybe they were filming because it was so dramatic that she really seemed like an actress. I looked around but there were no cameras only confused faces of all the other people waiting.
I stood there waiting in line shocked at what had just happened I felt bad for the lady and then I was thinking to myself does this happen everyday her at the DMV?
There were only 2 people in front of me now and the guy that was first in line was asking the lady a million of questions about why he got introuble for driving without insurance. You could hear the aggervated sighs of all the people behind me in line.
So the lady gave me my number E605. I will never forget my number. So i sat down into a seat in the middle and was bored out of my mind when suddenly I heard wailing and crying again. I looked to the back of the building and there talking some employee was the asian lady crying dramatically. She sobed as she said MY NUMBER WASN"T CALLED!!!! THEY CALLED D106 but they then went straight to D604.!!!!
The problem was the lady did not know that the DMV gives you random numbers and the numbers do not follow in order. The hop form E103 to B602 to D something or other.
So the employee talked to a person at a window and got her to go up next in order to stop the loud crying. I watched as the crying lady was at the window and I felt really bad for her but then again I couldn't help but chuckle as she went up to the window and was still crying hysterically grabbing a nearby box of tissues and uncontrollably pulling out tissue after tissue after tissue ! It seemed as if the tissue was money and she only had a limited time to grab as much as she could.
I try to draw my attention to something else in the room. So I look over and see some girl around 24 waiting in line. She is wearing a black t shirt and some pink capris with converse shoes on. Her hair was long brown and curly tied into a ponytail. She looked kinda cute and reminded me off a painter. Well you know when you look over at someone and they look over at you and theres that akward eye contact. Yeah that happened here so I quicky looked away.,
Then after she got her number she walked over and sat 5 seats down from me. I thought about starting up a conversation because I was bored as hell but instead I just sat there. After about five minutes she got up and ran over to the bathroom. I just sat there getting anxiety everytime they called my number grabbing my ticket and thinking it might have been my number. Then she walked back by and sat 4 seats away from me. After about three minutes she ran up and asked the lady in the back a stupid question and came back and sat 3 chairs away from me. I started to think this was a trend.
My attention pulled back over to the asian lady as I seen she had nearly stopped crying and she was about to leave the window. She backed away from the window a little I could see what I can only describe as mountain of white tissues. It looked like someone took a toliet paper roll and just unwound it right there on the counter. Then I was like DAMN thats a lot of tissue!
All of a sudden the asian lady BURST out into tears again! She sobed and wailed frantically with tears rolling down her face as she grabbed a tissue and ran out the door wailing her arms around as if they were medusa's snakes.
I couldn't help it I busted out laughing! It was perfectly silent and I busted out laughing. And I laughed for about 3 minutes . I tried to hide my face so I could hide it because the girl with the pink capris was peering over at me and the guy I went to school with turned around and looked at me then started laughing as well.
I felt bad for laughing but honeslty I couldn'thelp it if only you had seen it!!!
So after I calmed myself by trying to think of something really sad I looked over as the girl with the pink capris got up out of her seat and walked outside. I sat there eager for my number to be called. So while I was bored I pulled out a pen and decided that I would write down what was going on in that DMV but I had no paper so I used the back of my number. I started writing about why the lady was crying and about the girl and as I was writing the girl with the capris walked back in and sat only a seat away from. She looked over at me and smiled and placed her purse beside me.
Then my number was called. I jump up real quick and had this feeling like I had been chosen. I grabbed my number so that I could take it home with me and my purse and walked up to the window then the lady was like are you number E605 I answered Yes and she was like can I have your number.
DAMMIT I had to give the lady my number with all the writing on it I think she must have thought I was insane. Anyways I gave her the paper and she put it in the computer and said oh they already entered it. I was like WHAT THE HELL they told me I had to come to the DMV to present this paper. She said well its already here.
The good news :
I have 4 positive points on my record.
And I wouldn't have traded this trip to the DMV for anything. What an experience I can't wait to go back!
I would love to hear some other stories SG girls or members have of their trips to teh DMV. POST IF YOU HAVE ANY.

You know everywhere I go I always get those little highschool girls in front of me too! And they wisper in each others ears and glare back at me. And roll their eyes and yeah the " Oh my GOD" . Geeeezzzz. I feel like just taking myself out when I have to hear that shit. And I have really bad luck so wherever I go there is always going to be something there just to piss me off. Yeah I was really lucky in this experience it was wierd and different but it wasn't that bad.
