What's been stuck in my head all week:
This week was quite relaxing. Since my dad and my brother are in Pennsylvania there are no chores I have to do for them, no fighting and no gazillion phone calls/texts a day. Ahhh. Well, they did call me almost every day so far, but that's far less than usual, and the calls are a lot shorter than normal since it's pretty expensive to call overseas from a cellphone. They have a week and a half left to go, but I think they're ready to come home already. They did have fun there, but they're with my mom's aunt in rural Pennsylvania with not much to do. I could tell they were starting to get bored. Maybe I'm going to see if I can arrange a car for them so they can go places on their own, as my mom's aunt doesn't really care for leaving the house often. Though I'm not too sure about letting my dad drive in a foreign country. We'll see, maybe they just need to get used to the pace there. The area they're staying in is just very different from what they're used to, as we live in a densely populated area with everything you need mere minutes away. That's a lot more stimuli than what you get in the Poconos. The scenery must be a lot better over there, though.
12 days left before I leave! I have most of my stuff packed already, including a ton of chocolate and stroopwafels for everyone I'm going to see. I have tons of things at work to finish before I leave, but nothing I can't handle. One of the things I need to do, is pack up our office since we're moving sometime in July. It's only down the hall, but all the desks and cabinets have to be empty nonetheless. I don't mind the work though, as it's nice to do something every now and again that doesn't require a lot of thinking, just physical work.
If you're in/near New York or Philadelphia between July 11th and July 18th or Washington between the 18th and 22nd and you'd like to hang out with me, drop me a line and we'll work something out.

I work right down the street from the airport so I think I'll just work until 6 that night and then just head over. It's about 5 min down the road. That'll give you time to land and get your stuff together.
Yes, chat, watch Foodnetwork, hang out, whatever we want to do.
