Tara went to the vet today to get fixed. From what I hear, she put up quite a fight. The vet said she had to use gloves to get Tara into and out of her cage, she was hissing and scratching so much. Didn't notice anything when I got home though (my Dad picked her up for me and dropped her off at my place while I was at work). Apart from being a little sluggish, she was cuddly and cheerful as always. First thing she did when I walked in was run up to me and start purring and rubbing up against me, so sweet. I think she just has a problem with strangers. Hopefully she'll behave well when she's staying with my Dad while I'm in the States next month.
The surgery went without a hitch. She has to come back next week to check her stitches and stuff but other than that she should be fine. They only made a tiny cut so it should be healed in no time at all.

I still need a fish recipe for my Mom's birthday next week. I was thinking maybe lemmon pepper? I don't know, I'm still open to suggestions. A friend is coming over to help me prepare, so I might take some pics or vids for a food blog.

I've been on an Ace of Cakes kick lately. I might just have to try making a cake myself some time. Should be cool.
