Why is it that having a day off always sounds so good in *theory*, but in *reality*, you'll just end up bored all day?
I took Tara to the vet this morning, for a little check-up. She was supposed to get her first shots today, but due to her eyes being a little infected and her having some parasites (common among kittens), that's been postponed untill next week. In the mean time I got some medication for her, which should take care of her eyes and kill her parasites. The only problem is catching her to put the cream on her eyes, because she knows very well how little she is, and how big and fat I am . But she should be fine in a couple of days . The eye infection is already a lot less.
Since I had to pick up some food and meds for her, and the pet store wasn't open untill 11, it was already lunch-time by the time I got home. So I decided it wasn't worth going into work anymore, since the commute is over an hour. Besides, work is pretty slow right now because most of our clients are on vacation.
In hindsight, I just should have gone to work. Because just like I usually work from 9-5, most (if not all) of my friends do, too. So unless you plan these days off, you're pretty much on your own . And I don't know, I just wasn't in the mood for anything. So I just spent most of the day sitting around the house, being bored.
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually looking forward to going back to work tomorrow!
