Today I found out why most managers are assholes and took one step foward to becoming one myself. I'm an asisstant mgr and everyone at the store comes to me when they have a problem.
I have an employee, a mother. We had 4 people request mothers day off and she didn't want to work it either, for obvious reasons. I jump in the computer and juggle some things around and give her off. When the weekly schedule is posted she was back on. Instead of coming back to me she calls the manager, tells them I gave her off and she won't work.
How the fuck are you gonna rat someone out thats bent over backwards and risks getting written up to help you.
