Ho--Lee--Crap. I FINALLY got a stupid transfer date! I was going to put in my two weeks notice today and tell people when I'd be in town instead of waiting more to find out when it's convenient for them for me to show up. I saw that I had a missed call and voicemail on my phone this morning and lo and behold, it was the ever-elusive district manager from Phoenix! He said everything looked good and to let my store manager know my time frame. I'll be leaving Chicago on May 14th. It's actually kind of scary now to know that I only have about two weeks to finalize everything here and get all my shit together for the move but I usually work better at the last minute anyway. Come May 16th, I should be back in the Valley of the Sun!
