I hate opening on Sundays. For some reason, we have fewer people scheduledon the second busiest day of the week than weekdays when it's slower. I also think there is a Sunday morning curse. It seems every time I open, something happens. Today, three people called in to say they weren't coming before the store even opened. I don't have another manager or stocker come in until noon which means for four hours, I'm scrambling all over the damn store not getting anything done because I have to keep helping customers and employees. I'm going to talk to the store manager about adding at least one more person on Sundays but I have a feeling he won't go for it. Corporate logic is retarded.
