Taken on 16 June 2016 on the Riverwalk in Memphis, Tennessee. I wish there had been more clouds, but if there had been it would likely had been raining, with thunder and lightning, like the night before. These were the best of the lot of about 60 I took. I did very little post-processing. All I did was bump up the clarity and vibrancy a bit on each photo in Adobe Lightroom. First time in a long time that I didn't have to make significant adjustments to the photos.

I paid for these photos in blood. HA HA! Nasty mosquitos did a number on my hands and right elbow. No where else though. Forgot to use the bug repellent I had in the car. Go figure. Glad I was wearing jeans that night instead of shorts.

These are a few of the photos I took two weeks ago at Boardwalk Pond at the Clark County Wetlands Park near Henderson, Nevada. If you want to see the rest, check them out on my Flickr account.

You should come up here to cool down then @deadguitarist 😂😂LOL. Maybe not in Jan or Feb when it's like -20 to -30 though. I'm surprised you didn't melt on the Tarmac man! A dangerous job I'm sure. Even though I'm Canadian I think it's appropriate to say Thank You for your Service. Being allies and all
deadguitarist:
@thekarmaguy, thank you. After a while you kind of get used to all the heat. Doesn't mean I have to like it though. Toronto is on my travel list. Eventually, I'll get there.
