Greetings faithful followers, loyal friends, and random stumble uponers!
It's been sizzling in Las Vegas lately... 108°F+ the past few days... the second time this summer (already!) that we've had 108°F+ for multiple days in a row. Ugh! Now the monsoon is moving in. Temperatures will come down a bit (like 5-10°F), but the humidity, which is normally less than 10%, will rise to 25% or more. Doesn't seem like a lot, when you consider many places in the US consistently have much higher humidity, but when it's 100°F plus, even 25% humidity feels nasty.
I try to stay indoors as much as possible during the day when summer rolls around. It's too fucking hot for outdoor shoots. About the only time it's somewhat comfortable is early in the morning, and I'm a night owl. Even around sunset it's still quite hot. So, now that summer is in full swing, it's time to venture into the local mountains for outdoor shoots... or get out at night...
I'm going out to Rhyolite, NV on 14 Jul 2018 for light painting and astrophotography. Leaving home around 3:30 PM. The event starts at 6:30 PM.
On 11 Aug 2018, I'll be heading up to the International Car Forest of the Last Church in Goldfield, NV for light painting and astrophotography. This night will be special... it's a new moon and the peak of the Perseids meteor shower, which is one of the most active meteor showers each year. I hope to get some spectacular photos on this trip. This event starts at 5 PM, but I'm meeting a couple of people, who are also carpooling to the event with me, for lunch before leaving Las Vegas. I expect to leave Las Vegas about 1 PM, with stops at this gas station/restaurant/convenience store for a bathroom break, snack restock, and maybe an alien/Area 50 t-shirt or two. It's just north of Indian Springs. Then I'll stop in Beatty to pick up Subway sandwiches for later.

It's coming... in about 1 month the first set I shot for Suicide Girls will finally be released to Member Review! It's called Pizza Slut, featuring @damseldoll.
I hope you all enjoy this set. I had a lot of fun shooting this set, and the other three that we shot the same night.
