It's crazy weather here in Las Vegas this winter. While pretty much the eastern 2/3 of the US has been way colder than normal, we lucky people in the western states, especially the southwest, have been warmer than normal. Out of the 28 days (so far) in January, Las Vegas has only been at or below the average temperature for 6 or so days. 20+ days of daily high temperatures warmer than normal. CRAZY!
But I'm not here to gloat. I wish it wasn't so warm this winter. Summer's in Las Vegas are blazing hot. While I'm no fan of cold winters (had enough of those living in Denver, Colorado and Charlottesville, Virginia, even if they were rather brief), I do like the cooler weather, and I wish the days this winter have been cooler than or at the average daily high temperature much more often.
But, I'm not complaining about the warmer weather either. I have a photoshoot on Tuesday and my model wants one of sets to be a pool shoot, on the deck and maybe even in the pool. Tomorrow (Monday) and Tuesday are supposed to be in the low 70s here in Las Vegas (climbing into the upper 70s within the next 10 days... what the fuck?), which works out perfectly for the shoot. Speaking of warm weather... anyone in Las Vegas have a pool I can use for photoshoots?
On a different subject, but one in which the warmer temperatures will help keep me from freezing in the middle of the night, who's going to go out to observe, and photograph, the Super Blue Blood Moon (Supermoon, Blue Moon, Blood Moon - the blood moon is because of the total lunar eclipse) lunar eclipse on Wednesday night/morning? (Sorry UK peeps, not visible for you ☹️)?
Stay Tunned...
