Although no one here has inquired, I am alive and well. So is Mrs. DeadGuitarist, my brother, Mrs. DeadGuitarist's sister and her husband. And my brothers best friend (he's like family) is okay too.
Although I do like country music occasionally, I did not go to the concert. In fact, like most locals, we avoid the Las Vegas Strip as much as possible;
Nope, we were at home. Mrs. DeadGuitarist was already in bed asleep and didn't hear about it until this morning. I saw it on the news last night, though, if I had followed my normal evening routine (movie on pay channels) I wouldn't have heard about it until this morning. But I had decided to watch the new show Seal Team (jury's still out) and the news broke in right before the end of the show.
