Cats 'n Kittens,
Let's talk about good things, shall we?
1) I have a job. In a time of economic crisis and a difficult job market, it's nice to have an income. I'm making $15/hour, which isn't so bad for a part time job, and 16 hours a week on top of school is certainly doable.
2) School is going well. There's a couple of classes this week that I find infinitely interesting and am having a great time assembling more complex circuits and analyzing them. It will be a difficult semester in terms of theory, but that means I'll learn that much more.
3) I'm feeling pretty alright these days. A little bit of extra stress that's given me some pretty tough days, but in general I'm in a good mood most of the time.
4) My family members are all very happy right now. Both of my sisters are living with their boyfriends and are in love and very content with their current situation. It very much helps that their boyfriends really are stand up guys that treat them very well. My parents are currently in travel mode, going around the world and seeing everything worth seeing in the world. They just got back from a tour of Greece and the surrounding area. Proper financial planning has let them retire fully at 60 and when they're not traveling they're volunteering at the local hospital to give a little back to the community.
5) I'm busy, busy, busy. There's nothing worse to me than having tons of excess time in which to feel useless. Filling 6 days a week with school and work keeps life exciting, if at times a little hectic. Not much time for socializing, but I've been pretty bad at that for the past 5 or 6 years anyway.
Things are pretty alright these days.
Let's hope that keeps up.
Tell me goods things in your life.
J.R.
