Just like you I'm gonna change the world,
like any other angry boy or girl.
At the end of the road,
and there's no room for regret,
When we all fade away there's no chance to regret.
And I don't wanna piss my life away,
Lashing out at the world,
Just an angry waste.
I can't see or understand your point of view,
Never stepped in the shit in a pair of your shoes.
But I'll complain about everything that you have done,
And I'll whine when I don't get what I want.
But I've never been the kid in the shower line,
Separated from his mother,
Next up to die.
So I every time I speak, <-- I don't remember this line.
Preach <-- or this one.
If I make pointing my finger my only contribution,
Because pinning the blame isn't a fucking solution.
I need to focus on myself instead,
Because any real change needs to start in the head.
If you think throwing a brick is going to help,
Then you better be aimin' at yourself.
'Cause we say revolution will work it out,
Then the first thing you need burn down is your house.

Suffocating, overcrowded at the bottom of a boat.
Pointing the finger at the man in my shoes X a bunch.

I'll leave on this, because it's one of the most important songs to me personally.
I pity local punkers who never got to see these guys when they were together (Colin, the vocalist, has gone on to front Hostage Life (buy the White Jesus EP! Black Pint Records 2008).
Easily the best punk band to come out of Toronto.
They played their last show at the end of the millenium; I was there singing along to every song, and was on stage with them (with about 30 other people) chanting out the last lyrics they played. Awesome.
