Howdy, y'all
So I'm back from Costa Rica and thrust once again into cold harsh reality. Sigh.
Anyway, Costa Rica was amazing. It's a beautiful country (even in the dry season), and the weather was perfect all week. Somewhere around 90 F with a nice breeze blowing to keep you comfortable. Pretty kick ass, I must say.
Plus, free booze, free smokes, free food, a butler (not that I used the bulter service, but I had the option), and all sorts of things to do. I could swim two minutes out from the shore line on the beach (whose water was around 85F the whole time) and see hundreds of fish of all varieties (even a puffer once), went zip lining around the forest, and spent many a relaxing hour out by the pool, or more specfically, at the pool bar drinking the local beer (Imperial, for the record).
Here's some photos...
The beach.
One of the many local lizards.
The metal hands cactus. Yes, mother nature is a head banger.
The view from my suite.
This monkey stole my glasses. It was funny. I got them back.
Just one of the many pleasant landscapes.
Also, Costa Ricans are lovely people. Very laid back and polite, and very proud of their country (not in an arrogant way, just in a "I love my country" way). I recommend Costa Rica for a vacation. At least the Pacific side; I can't comment on the Atlantic side at this point in time.
Stupid life gettin' in the way of my relaxing time,
J.R.
P.S.
Suicide Circus finaly went live! This is one my favourite sets on the site. Exactly why my ass is around this place in the first place.

You may be right about the cats, although I wonder if they are after the shelter provided by the canopy in our backyard. That's where I've been spotting them, anyways.
