And of course those who are on my friends list (small though it may be)...

My name is J.R. I have a pseudonym for my profile because it feels right, but I prefer my real name.
But anyway, here's some random facts...

My above mentioned pseudonym is from the Rocket From The Crypt song of the same title. I love it, and so I chose that.

I'm a 27 year old student. This time around (being my second time through college), I enjoy school, and am having a great time learning.

Blood and guts make a great movie. Sometimes epic insight to the human condition can make a great movie (case in point Garden State and Office Space (watch it for what it means, not just the laughs)).

I'm a nerd. I like fantasy realms (Role Playing Games and Terry Brooks books etc.). I've always liked this stuff, probably always will, and will never make apologizes for it.

I could spend hours listening to someone talk about anything. I love listening to people spout off about just about anything.

I speak loud. It's just the way I am. My throat is abnomally large, and I have a ridiculous lung capacity. I can't prevent it, it just is.

I tend to come across as cold and heartless, but I'm the most emotional person you'll ever meet (provding you meet me at some point).

I'd rather be dead than deaf. Life without music isn't worth living.

I don't have cable. I don't miss it.

I love reading. The current generations' (even mine) minds are dull and weak because they don't use their brains for anything. It's all reality television and Facebook. Reading exercizes the brain, and makes for more interesting people.

I like people, but I'm petrified of the them. It's a vicious circle.

I'm anal about grammar. I'll probably find mispellings in this and edit it 5 times.

I'm technically minded, and wish more than anything that I was creative.

The girl I marry (should that ever happen), will ask me out.
