God damn my right shoulder is killing me. I play tennis - Why are you laughing? Seriously, I do. Anyway, I play tennis once or twice a week, but I can't serve overhand due to an injury to my right shoulder a couple of years ago. Literally, I can barely raise my right arm above my head, you know, in an active manner; I can reach for things on high shelves, and raise my hand when asking a question - just nothing "athletic." Where was I? Oh, yeah, well it really hurts because I've been working on my back-hand. Previous to yesterday, I was avoiding going for power with my back-hand, because I was worried about my shoulder; I'd play with these slices that were pretty good, but my partner has adapted to them and she slams them back at my feet now. Um, so yeah, that's why my shoulder hurts. But it's a good pain.
I just finished Season 3 of "The Wire." It's pretty good. Since the Sopranos are off the air for a few months, I need some sort of serial drama, involving cops and "bad guys" to keep me from losing my mind.
I ordered some books from Amazon yesterday. I'm reading nothing but history and economics (with some sprinkling of fiction) these days. Such a nice thing to not have to read legal materials ALL THE TIME:
