Well, Bubba... Vegas was a bust. My car developed some sort of fuel delivery problem that remains to be sorted out in spite of a number of mechanics who all claim nothing's wrong. Running like a top. Right. Then why does it act like it's out of gas after a couple hundred kilometers?
Spent some time in the desert nevertheless... But in friendly Skaha. Far from the reaches of sin. Too bad, really. We tried to make the best of it at the 'ol brew pub, but it's just not the same as dunking your head right into the vortex of shame and excess that I've always dreamed Vegas to be.
At least I still have most of my money. That much can be said.
Going out to hunt down some ice this weekend. Maybe, if it looks solid enough, we'll actually get to climb it. We will have a drill, so hilarity may just ensue. I'll keep y'all posted.
Well, I'm off to Value Village after a short stop off at my friend Dave's for some lasagna. I should sort out a cup of coffee soon.
