Usually I don't tell a story until it has an ending. Lat week, I did, though, and now I have folks eager to hear how it ends, and I haven't even gotten to the action part of it yet.

So, I mentioned the excellent advice I was given last week to my coworker, and I could tell right away that he had the same concern I had: I could end up scaring this girl away, even with peanut butter as a "Get out of talking to the comic geek free" card. So, I will continue to pine.

The good news is, we may ask her if she wants to work part time at the shop. We need some smart, capable help. If that ends up panning out, it could be a LOT easier to get her to get to know me. I'm a pretty funny and charming guy, I just need more than two minutes to work!

So, like sands through the hourglass, these are the days of my life.
