What a weekend...
The good:
Friday: An enjoyable night of drinks with my best friend, drinking partner and fellow SG stalwart, Hemaniscool and a bit of a chat to a nice young lady, always pleasant.
Saturday: Gym, trip to Illusions in Bristol to see our magic friend, Aidy, followed by a dirty burger.
Sunday: Vodka and Rock Band 2 with my main man, kick ass!
The Bad:
My sister breaks up with her long term bf...who's family live 2 hours away and want none of it, so we're left to pick up the pieces, both hers and his...Talk about a difficult situation!
So whilst recovering from the events of the weekend I got a txt from my friend and employer at various establishments over the last 10 years, Steve. He tells me he's finally got himself his own restaurant and bar, and more importantly, he'd very much like me to be a part of things. By being restaurant manager...I am majorly excited and majorly scared, both of which are good I guess. The current financial climate is shit for the food trade, but if we can ride the storm it'll be great, as this is something I have wanted to do since I was 16 and first worked as a waiter. I love the business and the camaraderie you can have in a tense atmosphere like a busy kitchen/restaurant. To say nothing of the ridiculous stuff we get up to (see images if they work properly!)
So fingers and anything else you care to cross, crossed please, people!
Catch you later Bill and Ted!

My buddy Alex is coming down from Wales Friday night so we're going for a drunken Ikea trip and Saturday night my friend Buff Matt is taking me to see Bronson at the cinema.
What are your weekend plans? Hanging at the lake?
Hows things your end dude?
