Yes, I loved the man. He opened the door with his pipe in his mouth. He was smiling and i quickly noticed that beneath his slightly unbuttoned shirt was a finely knotted Ascot. I was like," this dude rules."
He was kind enough to let me come in and photograph his Plantation home which sits on 1700 acres of old Georgetown rice fields in which he is preserving. Cool dude. Later that day I found those amazing cows on site at another Platation home I was photographing. It was an awesome day. The kind of day that makes you wish that certain special someone was there by your side to experience the beauty of surrounding nature with you ya know.

final day of 2007. big whoop. i get kick out of how meaningful this day and night becomes. but, what does it mean? simply that the days are finally getting longer, the weather moving toward warmer, etc.. nevertheless, have a cool time. stay well. all that.

Some fuckass broke my passenger side mirror. It was just hanging by the wire and all the glass was cracked. Thank god for duct tape.

august rush

a friend and i went to the movies last night and saw august rush. not a terrific movie. entertaining to a point, and the premise interesting. but my advice is to wait until it comes out on dvd and then, if you decide to, rent it. not worth the bucks to see it on big screen.

phew. better morning for sure. i remembered to pick up coffee at market last night. can't imagine not having this habit. a few others as well. but damn it's not pleasant when i run out of one of them.

a buddy of mine defines the four food groups as coffee, beer, cigarettes and aspirin. i'm not quite that bad.
