i had the same problem & i finally found out how.

click on the picture in your folder ... then once it opens the picture .... right click on then picture(i got a mac) then go to ....Open image in new window... the picture will then be in a new window all by its self ..... copy the adress location in that new page .... looks like this

then in your journal update under insert hit Image ,,,, a box will pop up .... then just paste the address in that ... you dont need to click in the box ..... once its in there hit OK ...

it will then look like this [IMG ,,, http ..bla bla address... [/IMG]

you wont see the picture till you finish updating and go back to your journal
