I knew within moments of starting my run to the gym today that I wasn't going to have a good working. A few nights in a row of shitty sleep, poor eating habits (I've been sustaining myself on whole almonds and chocolate chips for like 3 days) totally caught up to me. Workout was AWFUL. On a whim, I did barbell rows out of sequence today and took it all the way back to just doing the bar. After 12 reps, my back was burning like it never does when it's loaded with weight. Which tells me my form has been shittier than I thought, and I never should have been trying that much weight. So disappointing. 22 sessions in. Blech.
Stronglifts Session 22 - Workout B
Weight-In: 175
Squats: 5x5@150
Overhead Press: 3,5,4,3,2@90. Gross. Fuck.
Deadlift:1x5@195.
Aftter thinking about what I blogged about last time, I did decide there's no reason not to start trying to make a film, even if it's just using my phone. I've got it outlined and started thinking about the storyboarding and the kind of shots I'd like to get. I mean, how hard can it be to put 4 and a half minutes of film together, right? Doesn't matter. There's no reason not to try it. I'm bound to learn something.
