Christmas Day in the dawghouse was pretty darn good. - I gave, I received, people came, games were played, and then they went, smiling.

The table was fab - white linen on a red and green tartan cloth sprinkled with red and silver stars. White plates and red glasses, sparklers in the puddings. All done by Mitzkrieg <3. Best ever tree in the dining room this year - approx 7', no frantic chopping and balancing acts - everything this year was completely stress free, even the Briztol lot were on their best behaviour - kids distracted with the drumkit and table football set from last year. Humungous buffet for the Boxing Day visitors, which we're still (happily) living off and will be until the New Year.
Still to visit the Bradford rels but that will be nice. Apparently the niece has got a plug n play dance mat, so I'll be bustin' some moves this weekend! Off to see a big screen version of the Blue Planet tv thing tonight - it features a live orchestra and choir so should be spectacular. Then we got the Briztol boys staying over with us til the morning. Must buy Nurofen.
