I can't make up my mind about whether life is going great or extremely complicated and difficult.
It's almost trite to talk about how frustrating society at large is right now ... I am aware that 'fuck the system' is a common thread on the site ... but I'm unreasonably upset about so many things I see around me.
Politics: It seems like we've been sold a bill of goods. By focusing on the differences that viscerally divide people (religion, guns, sex) ... we've been convinced that there's a real choice in the political system in the US. We have a circus not a political system.
In the last few years progress has been minimal and we have regressed to archaic and backward policies in many states ... not to mention in other parts of the world.
Society: There's pretty much no reason to be intentionally mean to anyone ... note: being passively aggressive doesn't make people happy and doesn't improve their day... it doesn't improve the world in any way that I can think of. If you need to express yourself, try to do it with a little bit of class, forthrightness and dignity ... even if you need to point out bad behavior or say why something makes you unhappy ... you can do it politely.
none of these observations are novel or particularly well stated and for that I apologize ... it's just that the world is not as it should be ... and it's frustrating.

I agree with your entire blog. I feel like at this point, even if there was a revolt within the people, it wouldn't do much good. Things are almost too far gone to salvage. Also, passive aggression pisses me off to no end! Why can't people just say what they mean and speak up when something is on their mind?
