I am finally done work!!! I have actually had a few days off but I have been getting back to sleeping at night instead of during the day. 32 straight shifts of 10 hour night shifts.!! Super cool!! The guys got together and got me a new hard hat, which I sticker'd up after the job so they are fresh for the next one! Here's some pics!
This was really cool to me as I had not gotten around to buying a FibreMetal hard hat yet. (sadly) They are almost $50 and you can only get them from a few places, none of which I had been around. I was going to get one in August when I come to Van for the Danzig concert at the Commodore and to celebrate my BDay!! (August 29th is my BDay) I'm turning 27! Whooaa!
I still dress Like I'm a teenager. BEETEEDUBBS do you guys see (one of) my SG shirt(s)? Pretty neato huhhh? A nice new Mishka Death Adders hat as well.. To go with all the eyeball stickers on my hard hat!!
So I have been at work for a good while! No posts, hardly anything heard of from me. 6:30pm-5am 7 nights a weeks. I would wake up and check out all the SG pics that were new while eating breakfast and then pack a lunch and off to work. Come home and have dinner, smoke one, fall asleep to a movie. 7 days a week. Good money though. Now I can afford my vacation this summer and not have to worry about any money over the fall/winter. I will also probably go back to Alberta and do a bit more work out there this fall. I impressed a boss and they might NR me.. Which I don't know if I should do necessarily.. as a union man I almost feel like I should only take jobs off the board.. just like everyone else.. It's only fair.. (Nr means Name request if you didn't know.. It's like line jumping in a way.. Lots of the good workers do it though..) It does mean a much much bigger money year sometimes to take NR's rather than just work off the board.. So I can't decide.
Anyway I am stoked to be off work for at least a couple months! Check out my Tumblr as I have already written a new music review on a brand spanking new album!! PRETTY SWEET!!!
