Well hello suicide girls! It seems its been like, a year since i've posted? I suppose so much has gone on...but its a new year; lets not get so much into the what has, and just get right into the what is. ...the what will be.
Winter is here in the garden state, and lately in full swing. Its snowed quite a bit the last few weeks, especially on the mountain. Even had to close the shop a few days, and i HATE having to reschedule clients.Still winter here is pretty easy on the eyes in its own way, and its good bed weather i suppose. Still, the warmer weather is missed already. The dog, more than myself, is digging the snow in a huge way. It was a very quiet holiday for the most part, so not much to tell on that. I was ok with it though, i think i've got plenty to be thankful for.
Aside for working all the time, i've gotten a few paintings done that you'll be seeing soon. I've even found time to get some work myself. After having some earlier, and less then amazing work laser'd off(fun, fun shit guys and gals), i've finally gotten to the new work. We are several sittings in, with my next this month, and im super stoked so far. Here's a little peek from the very first session.
This year, im going to make more of a positive effort to keep up with postings here and elsewhere, particularly with work related things and such. I have been scolded many times about being terrible about getting my work up, and fuck, they're right. So while i work on updating the website and such, outlets like here and Facebook will perhaps help me make a habit of getting stuff up again. It would seem the somewhat shut in nature that creeps into me sometime, also makes me a bum about posting. So, heres a little piece im working on right now, It would be finished, but this clients apt fell on one of the recent snow days, so we finish next week(on my day off too, but im excited to work on it!). Lets see if i actually post the finished piece next week haha!
And on that note, im off. Lots to draw tomorrow and lots of errands to run. Perhaps i'll find some time to lurk around here for a bit and see whats been going on.
