I got back from my out of town trip to Columbus, IN yesterday afternoon. Close to a week in that place could kill a person. There was nothing to do other than walk around town aimlessly or hang out in my hotel room. I made the best of it. Hung out in the pub and drank a bunch of Corona's. Watched everything there ever was about Abe Lincoln on the History channel. Oh well. I am glad to be back home. Back with the family. Back to my overload of musical projects I have to wrap up. So here is some slight documentation since my last blog.
Last weekend, before my work trip to Columbus, The Unstables were back recording the rest of the guitars and some scratch vocals for thier album. We had a good time. Stayed up way too late. Drank too much. The usual.
Me bothering Hayden while he tracks.
Hayden taking a break.
Lindsey taking a break.
Lindsey and Hayden discuss thier guitar parts.
Jacob listens while Hayden tracks.
Terry re-records some bass with my bass, which happens to be my all time favorite bass that I have ever owned....just FYI.
Terry lays down some scrap vocals.
Then after the late Saturday night with The Unstables, we started early Sunday morning working with country/folk singer/songwriter Chelsea Rae. She came up from Nashville so I could help her produce and write some demo tracks. My good friend Stupid Jeff (who is also 1 half of one of my bands called The Surf Swirlies) was also there for the day.
Chelsea Rae
Stupid Jeff
Chelsea tracking one of many versions we worked up of her song Space To Run.
My offer to help Chelsea pop that zit.
Hanging out in the great outdoors for a spell.
Swing baby swing
Chelsea Rae and me....two cool mother fuckers.
Last, but not least, a picture I took of myself in my hotel window in Columbus, IN. Did I mention I am glad to be home?!
Now I challenge you to all go listen to some music over at our myspace page. Also click on Chelsea Rae in our top friends and check out her new demo!

Whenever, as long as it's a time the boy's not working so he can bring me up. I can't wait for it to be warm!
