Well I still haven't shaved. I have to find a way to make it until the 15th of April!
And there is something lurking in my fridge!
Well not really, but it sounded good. Lyric was messing with my camera and what a wonderful shot of me she got.
She also took this of herself. I thought it turned ouit rather cute.
Then we had the snake out the other night and Lyric had to have a picture with her.
The snake, whose name is Akasha, was a little cold and decided to warm up while Shannon had her.
So, yeah. Not much else going on. Shannon and I went Christmas shopping for the kid all day yesterday. For those who don't know yet, Lyric was born on the 27th, 2 days after X-mas, so we tend to buy her way too much shit. I don't want her to ever feel like she is getting ripped off just because she was born so close to X-mas, ya know. She will be 6 this year! Crazy. The nice thing is that we did like 80% of all her shopping in the book store. We were in a Kaybee Toys and walked out empty handed! For an almost 6 year old, she is so into books, stuffed animals, dragons, music, and creative things (crafts n such). She is not that big on your standard 6 year old girl toys at all. She likes to actually use her imagination, where in this day and age, all the kids toys do everything for them and they all lack in creativity and imagination.
There isn't much else going on in my little world lately. I've been half sick for a week. I've been watching a lot of X Files in my free time. We started back at the beginning and are watching them all in order straight through. We just started in on season 4 the other night. We had a break when the new season of Wings came out though. Had to watch it first! Best Show Ever! Well, I better close this out. The more I talk, the less I am interesting.
So I leave you all with this. A link to download some of the funniest music ever recorded by some friends of mine. The Fabulous Dung Beatles are 3 gay guys who decided to start a band. I first came across them in 1999. My old band had a handful of dates on Warped Tour, and when in Buffalo I was hanging out by our RV when I heard some music about some guy named Jason eating bad chicken and it turning him gay. Then I heard them do a cover of the song "New Car" by The Kids Of Widney High. I had to go see what it was. It was them, playing on the battle of the bands/Guitar Center stage. I watched the rest of the set and never laughed so hard in my life. Other people were so bothered by them. It was great. After they were done, they offered thier CD to everyone for whatever they were willing to pay for it. People gave a quarter, a dollar, I gave 10 bux! Well worth it. A year or so later, the disk was stolen from me. I was crushed. I recently found them on myspace, and struck up a few conversations, made some good friends out of them, and they put up both of t heir albums for free download. Go get these songs damn it! They are awesome!!!!
