Well we just got home from our Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago with my family. It was short. We had intentions on seeing other people and doing other things, but ran out of time (sorry Jen). I am wore out, so I will let a few pictures do the talking.
This was the first time I have seen my Father since he had his heart attack a handful of months ago. He looks fucking great! He is doing so well. It was a huge relief to finally see him! Anyone who doesn't know, of all my heros in the world, my Dad is by far the greatest person I have ever known. Anyone who doesn't know him is missing something in their lives. That is how amazing he is.
The wonderful Lyric and my super hot and colorful wife Shannon.
Lyric and me, her idiot father.
Lyric did a little face painting on her self and on my sister, who was thriiled to allow a almost 6 year old color on her face as you can see in the picture below.
We also found out that Chicago, well Oak Lawn to be exact, now has a Del Taco! All my years in the world of music, anytime I was in L.A. or on tour on the West Coast, I lived on Del Taco. There is even a Del Taco in St. Louis, and when not on tour or in the studio, Shannon, me, and whoever else would make a road trip from Chicago, just to eat there. Anyway, so now I also have turned Lyric into a Del Taco lover.
More to come when I am less sleepy. Closing in on my first month and still I have not shaved a hair! I have no idea how I will make it until April 15th though. Hope everyone is well here. I missed ya!
