Well my week off work is coming to an end. It was rather eventful for me, I must admit. Usually I just go home to good ol' Chicago and hang with the family. This year I stuck around home and figured I would be lazy and do things local. Like yesterday, we took Lyric to a few museums. She has a huge thing for dragons and the Frazier Museum (in Louisville) has Dragons! They have a decent amount of other historical stuff too, which I am a dork and totally into. Check Lyric out as a knight charging into battle....
We also went down the street from the Frazier to the Louisville Science Center which was much cooler and a ton of fun. Again, the dork in me was very excited by this place. Lyric loved it too! A lot of hands on stuff for kids to get into.
Earlier in the week we had a lovely 24 hour visit from my good good pal and SG member untitledrequest.
We hung out, walked on the beach, went to Lost River Cave out in Bowling Green, and the wife and I even got to turn her on to the wonderful world of Troma films with the classic Tromeo and Juliet!
Of course the 4th was in there as well, though nothing worth bragging about. Same with anything else we have done the last week. Fun, but nothing to flat out bore you with. All in all it has been a fun and eventful week. On that note, it is time for me to get goin'. I leave you all with one final link. For those of you who have a few minutes, or enjoy pictures, here is a link to albums with zillions of pictures of mostly Lyric. ENJOY!

Yeah, i like the cows These particular cows got out a couple weeks ago. It was funny. Me and the boy were driving back one of those morning that I had actually been taking some of those pics, and there were like three cop cars. We were wondering what was going on but when we got closer we seen cows standing all over the place, it was pretty hilarious. One of the big-horned ones was out maybe a few months ago or so, and was in the boy's driveway when he came home He didnt want to get out of the truck I wouldn't either.
