When I was in Australia I bought a used lens on a whim. Stupid move - the kind you make when you've been throwing money all over the place by the fistfulls - a groove that non backpacking tourists fall into.So I'm in a cash converters and see a Sigma 170-500 for my camera - slow glass but i figured good reach for a sunny...

Um, that's amazing they carried that shirt!! I think I know the one you're talking about because I almost ordered it online but couldn't decide between white or grey haha.
Now you have to take a pic wearing it proudly!

Ps. How did I not know you with to Australia? that's amazing! I have friends who have been backpacking there and LOVE it. I'm so jealous, definitely beats going to Canada!

I wouldn't say it's "uninteresting" and certainly not the most in the history of SG, I could be quite fascinated - - if I knew what a 170-500 as a opposed to a 70-200 could/should do on a sunny day. Alas . . .

Back from Australia as of last night after a very long 30+ hour ordeal.
With any luck I'll have more time to participate around here (at least until the writing starts up again)
Like any good tourist - i bought a digerydoo - but i'm going to try to learn how to play it.
I'll be back - after i've readjusted to the time zone...

Honestly, I just need vacation time. I LOVE Toronto. I really want to visit, but 2 or 3 days isn't enough!

Goodbye New Zealand. Off to Australia in a few hours, where i won't have to drive anymore.
This other side of the road thing is nerve wracking. Really narrow roads, twisting and winding through the mountains like the bloody roadrunner cartoons. Amazing scenery that i cant enjoy because if i take my eyes off the road for one second i'll send us plummeting off of...

I'm sitting here, listening to the soothing, stirring sounds of Hooverphonic while finishing the last of the bottle of Smoking Loon (a california red I quite like) that i shouldnt have opened because it would have gone bad by the time we returned. I think my subconcious was telling me that i needed a slight buzz to enable me to sleep tonight - but at...

Zomblog.

A couple of days ago i was asked to do a set visit for a 'lower budget' zombie film (Exit Humanity) being shot a few hours north of me in the middle of nowhere - ski country. I wasn't able to go because my wife has been away for 3 weeks in work training so my life has been on hold - or the...

Hey,

Man I've been busy. I haven't been around much - or just fleeting visits when I am. I keep missing blogs - some are pretty important too.
Just found out that one friend had her baby finally - and i missed it by a couple of days. Cyr posted about truck balls and i missed that too. Inexcuseable. (i fucking hate truck balls -...
