i read part of Stoned today, written by andrew loog oldham, the guy who basically made the stones what they are. that book never ceases to put me in a good (productive) mood. it blows me away to think that young people had that much of an effect on pop culture. in oldham's case: working for mary quant as her assistant at her clothing store bazaar or being a publicist for the beatles, or managing and producing the stones, all before he was 21.

That is like an impossible question you should ask of me. My dad is the worst person to shop for. I always end up getting him a gift card to Home Depot or some shit like that. Good luck.
